Ninja Reflex review rids GamingSA of carp
Written by SN at 11:30:03 AM, 13th May 2008

Have you ever wanted to be a ninja? Of course you have! Everybody who doesn't want to be a pirate wants to be a ninja. While looking like a ninja might be as easy as [wrapping a t-shirt around your head], developing the reflexes of a ninja is a slightly more complex and boring affair than many may have the stamina for, as demonstrated by Ninja Reflex for Wii and the practically identical Ninja Reflex: Steamworks Edition PC. Everyday Shooter on Steam
Written by SN at 10:13:40 AM, 9th May 2008
|
Hailing from the PlayStation 3, Jonathan Mark's amazing musical shooter, Everyday Shooter, is now available for PCs via Steam.
Everyday Shooter is exactly that, a shooter, which manages to mix a variety of gameplay styles with an all-guitar soundtrack and music responsive to player input.
Everyday Shooter is available now for $9.99 via Steam, with an additional 10% off the regular price if you purchase in the first week.
I'd recommend using a dual analogue gamepad to play, however, as the game doesn't feel quite as fluid as it should using WASD and arrows.
Check out Everyday Shooter at [www.steampowered.com].

Haze demo live on PSN
Written by SN at 10:12:14 AM, 8th May 2008
|
Ubisoft have just announced that a demo for Free Radical's new PlayStation 3 exclusive first-person shooter Haze has gone live for download via the PlayStation Store.
After playing a nearly unplayable version Haze at least year's eGames in Melbourne, and with the release date pushed back from November last year till May this year, I'd be keen to see if time equals polish.
Oh, and just in case you missed it, check out the [horrible song written by Korn] for the game, it's titled "Haze".
Could Haze be any answer at all to Bungie's Halo 3? Will it be more intense than Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4? Will anybody quit playing GTA IV to try it? Come release on May 22, I guess we'll have our answer.
